Ramblings of a retiree in France
Today, my last door post of 2019, I’m featuring those doors photographed on my most recent trip to Nice. The wrought iron and glass doors are typical of those found on apartment blocks all over France. These were all along the rue de France, as is the last door though that one belongs to a church.
Never fear, I shall be back in 2020 with even more doors! Meanwhile, I’ll be indulging in my regular seasonal post “12ย Days of Christmas” featuring some of my favourite photos of 2019.
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Norm’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).
I would love to have any of these doors. My house isn’t bog enough for them though. Can’t wait to see your 12 days of beautiful photos, you have been to some amazing places. Thanks for sharing that.

Not many old doors left on buildings here, except a couple of the old churches and our town office. I should get pictures of those before they are gone too.

Loving all the doors, Sheree, because aside from the intricate design of the doors … the stone work around it is also fantastic!
