Friday Photo Challenge – the colour pink

This week Amanda has set us the challenge of “the colour pink.”

When we were children my parents often bought us similar items of clothing but in different colours. My younger sister Lynn generally had the pink one while I had the red one. I was not a fan of what I deemed to be girly colours, I was a bit of a tomboy! Even now, I don’t have any pink items of clothing in my wardobe.

I’ve trawled through my photos, and here goes:-

Beach at Montauk, Nov 2019
EF Cycling at Clasica San Sebastian, Aug 2018
Pink hydrangea
Beautiful Cherry Blossom
Tallow Beach, Aug 2019
Hydrangea bush, Bordeaux July 2018
Early morning view from my bedroom window

I’m much enjoying these weekly challenges hosted on alternate weeks by either Amanda or Sandy because they force me to think about what’s in my photo archives and how I might re-use them.

If you’ve enjoyed this post, why not join in the fun?

Friendly Friday

  1. My absolute favourite is the contrast of the pink shrub against the old white wall with the blue faded door. That is a fabulous colour palette right there Sheree.

  2. Those are all beautiful pictures and you’ve got a real eye to it just see stir OK’ing pink in them but pick out ones that have a little hue of it too. Very fascinating 😊
