Ramblings of a retiree in France
This is my penultimate batch of doors from a recent trip to Eze village which proved to be fertile door hunting ground.
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Norm’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).
Oh thank you for the photos of doors. They’re interesting and unique works of art!
Mostly functional in the States 🙂

Who knew doors could be special enough to dedicate a post (and more!) about? I love it. These doors are beautiful, almost inviting. I want to give it a knock and see who answers! Cheers Sheree.

I’m fascinated by them, the people who’ve crossed their thresholds, the stories they could tell……

They have seen a lot of people for sure.

Ha- Sam you’ve plucked the exact thoughts out of my head about the doors. I laughed when you said they’re so inviting you want to give them a knock 😂👍🏻
Yes – Sheree made something that may easily be passed by with minimal attention and grabbed our attention to its beauty. Well done to Sheree!

I’ve said the same thing before, Teri. Sherri finds some great door pictures, and all I can think of is how bland ours are by comparison, LOL.

Exactly! 😂. And I just love those doors ❣️
I think I’ll make it like a scavenger hunt and have fun finding them. My area is newly developed so I’ll have to make an effort to explore 😉

These are beautiful! I love doors too! I remember coming across some in Granada years ago that had a fantastic pair of hands which were the knocker – unfortunately, my photo was taken on an old print camera, otherwise I would share it with you! You might have to take a trip one day and see if you can find them! It’s a fabulous city and worth a visit if you get the chance, once things are better everywhere! Keep up with the doors though, lovely photographs, a real treat 🙂

I’ve been to Granada about 30 years ago and you’re correct it’s a beautiful city with some amazing doors. Sadly, I didn’t photograph any of them!

It’s a good excuse to make a return visit, on the grounds of door research! Jim and I vowed to go back one day too. Must do it when things settle down here. Keep well and more doors please, 👍

I loved Eze. I can’t think of the name of the village where hubby’s daughter lived. Close to Eze.

More beautiful doors! We just don’t get that around here, all our old buildings have had new doors put on except our town office, nice doors there. Thanks for sharing such beauties!😃😺
