Ramblings of a retiree in France
This steel rhinoceros “Panzernashorn” by local lad John A Tobler (1982) graces the Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich, standing outside the Züricher Kantonalbank. It’s said to be a symbol of security, strength and steadfastness. Everything we want in a bank, really.
This challenge used to be hosted by the Mind over Memory blogger but, sadly, she no longer has the time. However, we have been saved by Susan Kelly over at Ruined for Life: Phoenix Edition who has most kindly now offered to host.
Share a photo of a sculpture – go on, give it a go, you know you want to!
Great pic Sheree. Sometimes I think there’s a rhino in charge at my bank!

We’re fine thank you and generally enjoying the rather quieter pace of life this summer. And you?

We are in semi lockdown again ☹️ it’s so annoying I could go and stand in a pub full of people but not sit in my daughters garden 😠

Sorry to hear that Elaine. Some of the rules are rather confusing. We just wear a mask whenever we’re out and about.

So do we in shops and supermarkets. Hopefully it will lift soon, luckily the area where we live is not too bad but we have been linked in with surrounding areas 🙄
