Ramblings of a retiree in France
These photos are from my back catalogue but haven’t previously featured on Macro Monday. The weather this past week has sadly not been conducive – too windy – to photographing plants and flowers.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your helpful feedback and kind comments on these posts – most encouraging.
Sunshine’s Macro Monday Challenge was hosted by Irene a formidable photographer who encouraged us to scrutinise the smallest of details by getting up close and personal and bringing someone or something to life in a photograph. It was a one day challenge without prompts which I have continued to pursue. Feel free to join in and brighten everyone’s Monday.
you pick some nice subjects for this series, but the focus issue, at least to me, continues. depth of field (dof) is hard to achieve with cameras in phones, tablets, etc. sorry i am so critical.

I know you try. I was taught to look for the negative things or the problem things. That was my work to do so. So it is hard for me to not see the negative stuff.

This is such a cool theme for photos. Close up perspective of common items. Very nice and inspiring.
Thanks for the post!
