These are wonderful doors. I love the curved panels. I would resist making such and intricate door today, even with equipment. It’s amazing that they could make these by hand, and do such a remarkable job.

What I love most about our little group is how it allows me to constantly learn about new and interesting places, especially interesting small towns and villages, that I might have never heard about otherwise. Thanks for sharing these π

I enjoy looking at the pictures of these doors, they make me think of the scripture on Jesus knocking on our door. Beautiful.

I love the “four a pain communal”. I believe there is still one of those in very little town in the area (I mean renovated painting on the facade even though the four is only a memory from the past). I do have a bunch of those in my photo collection from the little villages in Nice back country
