Friday Photo Challenge – practice

This week for Friendly Friday, Amanda has challenged us to show her our interpretation of the theme “Practice,” in photographs.

She exhorts us not to let your skills languish. Keep them sharp with practice, either in or out of home.

Without really thinking about it, there are lots of things I practice daily. For example:-

1.Spending more time at home with my husband means I’m speaking much more English than usual but I can offset that by watching French television and reading books in French.

2. When you get to my age “use it or lose it!” is a real fear so I try to maintain my flexibility with yoga and my aerobic fitness with jogging and cycling.

3. I take photos, albeit with my iPhone or iPad, every day.

4. I cook at least two meals a day, one vegan and one non-vegan.

So, how can I show all this with photographs? To be honest, I can’t but I do have a few to illustrate what I practice.

I’m much enjoying these weekly challenges hosted on alternate weeks by either Amanda or Sandy because they force me to think about what’s in my photo archives and how I might re-purpose them.

If you’ve enjoyed this post, why not join in the fun?

Friendly Friday

  1. I should be practising the piano but I haven’t touched it since COVID started. I like the fact that you’ve included cooking in your gallery of photos. It’s making me hungry.:)

  2. That photo of the sailboat at what looks like it might be sunset? That photo is amazing. That’s the kind of scene I think of every time I say I’m going to sail off into the sunset.
