Ramblings of a retiree in France
Today I’ve chosen a photograph from our 2017 #adventuredownunder showing another typical Australian bush scene which Iβd have photographed from the moving car. This time it would’ve been taken somewhere between Melbourne and Adelaide. Probably, closer to the latter than the former.
It’s not often Australian paddock trees have a friend π

Why does everyone imagine that Australia is crawling with snakes and dangerous creepy crawlies. Iβve never had so much as a mosquito bite!

β‘ I emigrated here in 2005 fearing the “snakes and creepy crawlies”; the reality is most of the population lives near the coast and “snakes and creepy crawlies” mostly reside in the sparsely populated interior…on a side note a pet snake was found in one of salubrious suburbs, up a tree after escaping from it’s owners tank; the snake handlers got on to the case ππ€£π ππππππ
