Ramblings of a retiree in France
This was the first place we visited at the end of Lockdown I and where we enjoyed a delightful picnic on the grass. The day we visited there were lots of parascenders surfing the thermals in the great blue yonder.
Consequently, today’s track from Lenny Kravitz is Fly Away, the fourth single from his fifth studio album, 5 (1998). The song won a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Performance in 1999. Lenny said he wrote this song in 20 minutes, on a napkin, while he was in a car. It goes to show how brilliance sometimes strikes at random and isn’t always contrived.Â
Wonderful view
