Ramblings of a retiree in France
This week’s challenge is Opposite where I assume our hostess is looking for contrasts. One of the things I love about living here on the Cote d’Azur is how near we are to the mountains. The closest are just 45 minutes from the beach and are ideal for hiking, bike riding and skiing, weather conditions permitting.
So here are some contrasting photos, firstly ones of shorelines and mountains.
Then some showing off the vivid contrasts in colours on the Cote d’Azur.
And a couple demonstrating the contrast between ancient and brand new?
I’ve decided to join in with Debbie Smyth’s One Word Sunday challenge, largely because she sets them well in advance – always an advantage in my book. In addition, she’s a fantastic and inspirational photographer.
Spectacular photos
