Ramblings of a retiree in France
We went to Saint-Raphaël last week which was sadly slim pickins’ when it came to doors! So, I’m once again digging in my archives. Here’s a few doors that have seen better days! I bet these would have a few tales to tell……….
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site https://nofacilities.com, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).

They sure do look like they have stories to tell, Sheree. Or perhaps they told the stories—and the batterings were the result! Either way, they’re intriguing.

I always feel that way about old doors still in use

I like the arched one with the jade plant best, but the pavement in front of the one with the blue bottom part is pretty, and the shape of the doorway is interesting.

He died and is buried in Paris if you’re looking for him.

I know, I’ve visited the cemetary but didn’t see his grave. https://viewfromtheback.com/2019/11/05/a-visit-to-cimetiere-du-pere-lachaise/ and I’ve featured one of the Band’s songs on #SLS https://viewfromtheback.com/2020/12/06/song-lyric-sunday-21/.
