Yes, we’re now well into our third week without any office telephone line or internet service. The sad thing is that I have no real idea of when it will be restored. Lots of promises, but zero actions. It’s fair to say that Orange has totally failed to manage my expectations and my life has been put on permanent hold. I don’t feel I can organise anything or commit to anything until it’s sorted.
Take today, for example, we were due to lunch with friends but Orange had scheduled a rdv by phone for 12:00 – 13:00 with their Technical Service dept. This was a rescheduling of a call due the previous day. I cancelled our lunch and waited patiently by the Livebox. No one called. I had to ring Orange and the whole ghastly procedure started again. I now have my next call scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. I feel as if I’m caught up in some Dystopian Groundhog Day.
