Covid update
A big thank you to everyone yesterday for wishing both of us well. I did not however disclose our latest test results.
Well, it was perhaps no surprise that my beloved finally tested negative for Covid, I however did not! My beloved rapidly took a hasty executive decision and re-booked our flights for Sunday. I say hasty because he did this without any consultation and he’s generally not allowed to make executive decisions. So I have PCR tests re-booked for tomorrow lunchtime to meet testing requirements in both Germany and UAE. Fingers crossed, again!

TBH it’s been like a case of the sniffles, not even a full on cold. Figers crossed for tomorrow.

Two of my youngest grandchildren had the Omicron variant over Christmastime and had nothing more than a couple of days of a slight temperature.

Good luck ! It feels like 2022 is worse than the last two years. I am sure you will recover and do well. I just wanted to come on here and thank you for really appreciating my content and blog and being a faithful reader. Best of luck that you get to enjoy your trip. I’m glad you have a mild case. Omicron just went thru our household a couple of weeks ago, as we have 2 family members who work in retail. My elderly mother is the only one who didn’t get it, and is having surgery on the 1st, so we have fingers crossed here too.

Glad y’all are OK. From what I understand you can test positive for WEEKS after having COVID.
