Photo from Dubai: Day 2
Rather than do one of my regular “Postcards from……” posts I thought I’d share with you on a daily basis what I’m up to in Dubai though I’ll spare you any of the business and dental stuff. Dubai has recently moved its Friday and Saturday weekend to Saturday and Sunday, so we’ve started our the trip with two relaxing days chillin’ by the pool.
Last night we both enjoyed salads at the nearby Ritz Carlton. Breakfast had been a humdinger, so there was no need for lunch and we just wanted something light for dinner. This evening we’re eating at one of our favourite Indian restaurants.
Meanwhile, here’s the view from my bedroom window – not too shabby!

Fantastic. Looks like part is calligraphy of the name of Allah, which I recognize from Alhambra frescoes.
