Ramblings of a retiree in France
Yesterday evening we went to the Palm and dined with some business associates who were enjoying a few days vacation post the dental exhibition we’d missed due to Covid. I had promised some photos from the Palm but there wasn’t anything that captured my imagination.
I’ll be honest, I lazed by the pool today after another walk around the DIFC – I love all the reflected buildings – and a trip to the gym – got to wear off all those calories consumed at the breakfast buffet. Sadly my beloved was glued to his laptop, his sort-of retirement at the end of March frankly can’t come soon enough. He’s also pretty busy all day and all evening tomorrow but then should have some time to visit World Expo with me.
The reflections are lovely!

I’ve been reading about World Expo as know someone who is attending. It sounds brilliant. Enjoy, Sheree.

I, too, love those reflections in the buildings. Some very unique architecture.
