Ramblings of a retiree in France
Here are a few doors from our most recent trip to Paris – not my usual fare!
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).
I absolutely love these posts. The go right to my heart, being in construction for my entire professional life. So cool.

Just might… though our architecture is a bit boring. When I go down to Detroit, I’ll be sure to chime in.

I never get tired of these doors. Recently returned from Europe and I could have taken a million pictures of just doors – they are pieces of art. And they are not just doors…I’m always amazed by what’s on the other side of the doors – courtyards, gardens, staircases, vestibules, treasures, real life.

Wonderful doors. I like the group of double doors, and I really like the way they fashioned the handle on the door in the bottom photo.

Beautiful doors again Sheree! Number 2 would be my top pick of this group. It’s too bad that around here they are so quick to replace old doors which just a modern, plain glass door. 😊😺
