Ramblings of a retiree in France
Here are a few more doors from my most recent trips.
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).
I wish I could travel to all these beautiful doors! But you transport me well enough for now π

I think you fudged a little this time. π That next to last one is a doorWAY. π

Some good ones, they sure don’t make ’em like they used to!

While all the doors and surrounding details are lovely, the door/window/etc with the Christmas display just calls to me. π

Is the 4th one a shop door? Looks like it. Once again, beautiful collection of doors.

You could easily incorporate Milan, Como and Varese into a road or rail trip.

We went from Milan to Como and then to Bologna and Rimini and back to Milan. I liked the Cathedral.

These doors are so pretty, Sheree! The tucked away interior doors are works of art. I am in awe at the fit and finish and how well they blend with the rooms full of beautiful furniture. I think my favorite might be the dark store front. That’s a great look.

lovely collection; love the one with the christmas window display; could the figures (on either side of the entry, wearing hats) be the owners?; and also the iron design work on the windows and door in the first photo.
