Musical February : Day 4
I’m a big music fan so thought it might be nice to take part in Bee’s ” Love is in Da Blog” Challenge for the month of February.
Today’s prompt is a love song specific to me and my beloved which was a suggestion from Di over at Pensitivity101.
Now, strange as it might seem, we don’t have a record so I thought I’d have a look at what was topping the charts on a few key dates, but nada. So, instead, I’ve picked one we both love.
Let’s get a little more mellow and emotional with Conversations in the Dark, another incredibly popular love song from John Legend. It’s a simple little number that gets its message across beautifully. It was released as a single in January 2020 as the lead single from his seventh studio album Bigger Love.
The song is a dedication to loved ones confirming that you’ll be with them forever. It could easily be our song but, then again, pretty much any of his songs could be – that’s the beauty of John’s songwriting.
