I’m a big music fan so thought it might be nice to take part in Bee’s ” Love is in Da Blog” Challenge for the month of February.
Today’s prompt is for not a Valentine’s Love Song 😉. I don’t believe there are any references to today on If Love Is Overrated by two-time Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter Gregory Porter. This is a heart-warming single from his sixth studio album All Rise. Porter explained:
If Love Is Overrated is a love song to love, in a pessimistic environment. It is the energy that excites the heart and the head without this love being announced to the world… a secret admiration even.
The touching song is a classic Gregory Porter ballad, a gorgeous torch song full of romance with a heartfelt lyric that finds the singer abandoning logic for a mere chance at seeing love’s promise bloom.
