Ramblings of a retiree in France
Here are a few more doors from my most recent trip to Paris.
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).
That’s a beautiful set this week, Sheree!

It’s too bad that places around here didn’t keep their old doors.

Here they like to get rid of the old and put in new. That includes tearing down very nice old buildings to put up new ones, when the old would have served nicely.π

The door with the shell above is unique. Curious if you remember to which building it is attached? There must be a story…

Indeed there is a story which Iβve already told here https://viewfromtheback.com/2023/01/08/french-fancies-chateau-voltaire/

The door with the golden seashell…what a beauty. I think it would fit in fine here in Florida. π

Wonderful doors again, Sheree. I wonder if the 2nd door is from a palace.

These are magnificent doors. Sheree. Between the doors and the gates, I’m not sure I can choose a favorite. But, that second shot, through multiple doors is an amazing photo.
