Ramblings of a retiree in France
TBH I could photograph pretty much every door in Paris but sadly some are obscured by vehicles, others are adorned with dustbins and many I need to dice with death by taking their image from the middle of a busy road. This is probably just as well, otherwise………..I’d still be there taking photos!
Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments’ on Dan’s site, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American Eastern Time).
Great door, Sheree. Lets see what comes tomorrow.

Same applies to street art and you can also add direct sunlight and shadows – all guaranteed to ruin any shot!

This is such a wonderful collection, Sheree. Those first two doors are so elegant. I love the iron work at what I guess is 77. The details are beautiful. I also really like the multi-paneled transom window at number 8.

I too love wrought iron doors, plus balconies and lamps. They’re very common in France, particularly in apartment blocks.
