The Estate d’Estoublon is located in the village of Fontvieille – a 10 minute drive from Les Baux de Provence – inside National Park Les Alpilles between Arles and St Remy de Provence in South of France.
The Domaine and its 18th century castle are located inside a peaceful and exceptional 341 acre estate in a provencal landscape (47 acres of vines and 254 acres of olive trees) with green hills, plains, olive groves and vineyards.
Chateau d’Estoublon’s 18th century building was renovated in 2016, and embellished by French architect Christophe Tollemer in 2020. Over 1,500 sq metres (15,000 sq ft) and two stories, the Chateau counts 22 rooms, with ten bedrooms and suites which differ in size, atmosphere and decor – perfect for a large family gathering or special occasion.
The Chateau’s atmosphere is both enchanting and cozy, a tailor-made experience with the comfort of a provençal family home.
There’s a multitude of outdoor activities at the Chateau: tennis, pétanque, yoga classes, horse riding, heated swimming pool, electric bikes and a vintage 2CV car to drive around the domaine. A highlight? The loop trail, a 45 minute walk inside the estate through the vineyards and olive groves with directional signage, twelve informative and educational stops to understand its terroir, fauna, history and economic history.
Inside the Chateau, there’s a fitness studio, a wellness suite with a hamman, a theater room, a billiard table and a beautiful library filled with blond oak bookcases with old collections about history, geography, art and literature – bliss.
You can enjoy meals either on the terrace under a magnificent pergola festooned with white wisteria, by the pool or with a picnic in the vineyards from fresh and seasonal products sourced from the best local producers and the Chateau’s potager.
Château d’Estoublon is one of the great estates of the Baux-de-Provence appellation.
